This Public Relations Group was the Brain storm of Jesse KE5BCS ( the red head with Tan baseball cap) he seen where the need of promoting Amateur Radio to the public was a must! Promoting Ham Radio through the chain of Wal-Mart stores in our area was a No-Brainer! The rest is history....
A few of us had small mini meetings at Waffle Houses & Truckstops to get the Ball Rolling, This was the first Official Meeting at the Time Warner cable company in West Monroe,LA.

On Saturday, September 18, 2004, ARES in conjunction with Wal-Mart, the Red Cross, and Office of Homeland Security setup a information booth at Wal-Mart in West Monroe & Winnsboro, LA..
